 Blitz Lab - Aurora Libraries

As I have been using Blitz Basic, I have written a number of useful functions which I have included on the site for anyone who wishes to use them. I have categorised them into 4 libraries files so you only need to inlcude the relevant file(s) in your code:

  • Graphic Functions
  • Input/Output Functions
  • Numric Functions
  • String Functions

I will be constantly adding new functions to these libraries so keep checking the site for updates. I will always do my best to ensure that they are backward compatible.

Please view individual files for more information.

I recommend that you have one directory where you keep all your library files. Each project you are working on can reference this directory to ensure that they all use the same version.

Download the latest version

Please note - I have just provided these files 'as is' so the functions are not very well documented at the moment. However, I will fully document all functions in due course.

If you are still learning to program in Blitz, I recommend you also read the Modular Programming & Libraries article which will not only explain about using libraries like this, but also show you how to make your own.
